Ferran Adrià Acosta é um cozinheiro espanhol nascido em 14 de Maio de 1962 em L'Hispitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Catalunha. Famoso chef do Restaurante El Bulli em Roses, na Costa Brava, Catalunha (Espanha). Começou a cozinhar em 1980 quando trabalhava como lavador de pratos no Hotel Playafels em Ibiza onde, mais tarde, o chef de cozinha lhe ensino a tradicional culinária de Espanha. No entanto, Adrià tornou-se um expoente da chamada 'gastronomia molecular', ousadamente experimentando novas tecnologias e inesperadas texturas e sabores. O El Bulli fica aberto apenas de Abril a Setembro, já que Adrià passa os outros seis meses do ano aperfeiçoando receitas no seu laboratório/oficina, 'El Taller', em Barcelona.
